Hi, my name is Izzy and I'm from Buckinghamshire originally and I study Anthropology with Innovation at Bristol. So an innovation that caught my eye recently that I thought was really impressive is called the BuBble Gun. It was invented by a Dutch scientist and it is basically a needle-free injection.

So it works via a laser heating up the liquid that goes into your body and then basically that then absorbs into the layers of your skin. So it avoids nerve damage, bruising, it's a virtually painless alternative to what we currently have and I think the implications of this being rolled out globally would be fantastic because obviously there are some people who are diabetic or have all these various illnesses where they basically need to inject themselves on a daily basis which is obviously not a very pleasant thing to experience and then there are loads of anti-vaxxers and people who are just afraid of getting injected with even life-saving vaccines.

So for people to have a pain-free alternative I think would be amazing for global health.
