Hi, I'm Hannah and I go to the University of Bristol. The innovation that has caught my eye recently is a startup called Peequil. They have created a female urinal that is 100% made from recycled materials and produces 98% less CO2 than traditional portable toilets. Pequil takes their urinals to festivals and events, where they claim to cut down queuing time for women by six times. The urinals are colorful and fun, and they can only be seen from the waist downwards, making them suitable for festival-goers. They are designed like a hole in the ground with space to hold clothes and a basin to catch any splash. The urinals are flat pack and can be set up in three different designs to suit the location. Pequil recently won the new enterprise competition and is doing well.
