Hi, I'm Will, I'm 21, and I'm from Bristol. I think the Audi Quattro rally car from the 80s is a really cool innovation. It was one of the first ever four-wheel drive rally cars to compete. When Audi introduced it, they had to ask the governing body for permission to race with a four-wheel drive car and use this new technology. The governing body thought it was ridiculous and assumed it would be outclassed, but they allowed it anyway. After some adjustments, the Audi Quattro became one of the most famous racing cars of its time. What makes it special is its defiance towards incremental innovation and its embrace of radical, innovative solutions. That's why I think it's a cool car.
